Israeli startup Sirin Labs has launched the world's most expensive Android smartphone. Called Solarin, the smartphone has been dubbed as the 'Rolls Royce of smartphones'. Here's all you need to know about the Android phone priced at $14,000 (Rs 9 lakh approximately).

Most Secure Phone
The company claims that Solarin is the world's 'most secure' Android smartphone. According to the company, Solarin offers "the most advanced privacy technology, currently unavailable outside the agency world."
The smartphone offers 256-bit AES encryption, almost similar to what the defence forces use to protect communication. The smartphone can be activated via a physical security switch located at the back of the phone.
Runs On....
Solarin runs on 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, comes with support for 24 bands of LTE, and promises "far superior" Wi-Fi connectivity than standard mobile phones.
Has a 23.4 MP Camera
The smartphone features a 23.8-megapixel rear camera, with laser autofocus and industry-leading four-tone flash, plus a front-facing flash. There's an 8-megapixel front camera with flash and electrical image stabilization.
Display & OS
Solarin has a 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass 4-protected IPS screen with LED 2K resolution. The smartphone runs on heavily skinned Android 5.1 operating system.
Colour Option
The smartphone comes in four colour options: Fire Black Carbon Leather with Titanium, Fire Black Carbon Leather with Diamond-like Carbon, Fire Black Carbon Leather with Yellow Gold and Crystal White Carbon Leather with Diamond-like Carbon.
It's Water & Dust Resistant...
Solarin is water/dust resistant up to IP54 level.
Availability
Solarin smartphone is available on its own flagship store in London's Mayfair neighborhood, and will go on sale at Harrods from on June 30. The company also plans to open additional retail stores across Europe, North America, and Asia later in the year.
