Over the weekend HMD Global, the company with exclusive rights to manufacture Nokia-branded smartphones, launched the Nokia 6 in China. The device marks the comeback of, what many call, the ‘Father of all smartphones’. Just in case you missed out on all the information with regards to the launch, We are going to tell you its cool and out of the box features...
Here are some key features of the smartphone.
1. Android 7.0 Nougat

The Nokia 6 smartphone runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. This means that the device will come loaded with the latest features, such as direct reply from notifications, new settings page, multi-window view, and battery saving Doze mode amongst others.
2.Display and Resolution

Nokia 6 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) resolution. The screen has a 2.5D glass coating with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. With a pixel density of 403 ppi, the smartphone displays content in a 16:9 aspect ratio.
3.Processor and Ram

The smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. Though not the most powerful amongst the lot available today, it is supported by a 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and an Adreno 505 GPU.
4. Camera

The Nokia 6 smartphone has a 16MP rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF), 1.0um sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and a dual-tone flash. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with 1.12um sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and an 84-degree wide angle lens.
iPhone 7's Camera Vs Nokia 6's camera
The Nokia 6 features a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera. It does not shoot in 4k. On the other hand, the iPhone 7 Plus features a 12 MP dual-rear camera and a 7 MP front snapper. Unlike the Nokia 6, the iPhone 7 Plus is capable of shooting in 4k. Also, another thing cool feature is that it allows the user to jump in and out of zoom without taking a break when filming videos.
5.Storage

The HMD-made smartphone comes with a decent inbuilt storage of 64GB. However, it remains to be seen as to how much of that space do the OS and other related files take up. Users also have the option to install a microSD card of up to 128GB to expand the storage.
6.Battery

The Nokia 6 smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery, which according to the company, can deliver a maximum standby time of 32 days, a 3G talk-time of 18 hours, and a music playback time of 22 hours.

Additional features onboard the Nokia 6 smartphone include dual front-facing speakers with a smart amplifier chip (TFA9891) and Dolby Atmos audio technology. A fingerprint sensor is also embedded on the ‘Home’ button placed below the display.
